This is to show that Christ is, as most of us know, "The life" [John 14 : 6] " …I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me."

Christ is the blood. [Lev 17: 11] " For the life (Christ) of the flesh ( man) is in the blood:...for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." Christ died for our sins. [ John 8 : 32] " ...the truth ( Christ) shall make you free."

[ Matt 26: 27- 28 ] " ...Drink ye all of it; (28) For this is my blood of the new testament,..."

[ Rev 17 : 6] " And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints,..."

Therefore, since Christ is the Word. [John 1: 1,14 ] " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,..."

Scripture is the written Word, and Christ is the Living Word. Scripture is Christ and Christ is scripture. Scripture is also blood. ( Christ's blood ) The woman/ church was drunken or confused with scripture / strong drink (wine).

[ Isa 28 : 7,] "But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way;(Christ) the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way (Christ) through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgement." [ John 4 : 46] "...where he made the water wine..." [John 2: 10 ] "....but thou hast kept the good wine until now." [ Gen 14: 18 ] ".....king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God."

[Prov 20:1] " wine...and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise."

[Eccl 9 : 7] "... and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works."

[Song of Solomon 7 : 9] "...the best wine for my beloved, ...causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak."

[Isa 65 : 8] "...As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it:..."
