Some perspective on Hell- Like most things, there's a few different ways of looking at this. Some will say it is an actual fire, and it very well may be, but here are a couple of other things to consider.
1. Opposites, i.e., Light, dark; hot, cold; mainly positive, negative. If you're not in Heaven, then chances are you're in hell/ earth, where Satan sits on the throne of the earth, and where his demons torment us with incorrect doctrines and wrong beliefs about the Supreme Being. {lies}
Deut 4:24; Heb 12:29, states "God is a consuming fire." So therefore his word is fire. Satan, his minions and followers, torment and harass humans 24/7 with wrong knowledge, incorrect interpretations of scripture/fire.
So we see we are already in one form of hell.
[The Lake of fire, Rev 20:14,15] If you imagine yourself in Heaven, looking down at the universe, you'd see galaxies, stars and planet clusters, lit up like a sea or lake of fire. Earth and Satan are there. Since Christ is life, John 14:6, and Satan is the opposite, then Satan is Death.
"Death and Hell were cast into the lake of fire." Rev 12:9; II Cor 4:4.
Christ's Soul was not left in hell Acts 2:27, 31. He came here to save the souls that were in hell.
It seems the only thing that may change or need to change is our perspective.
Go back to Genesis, Everything God made was good. Gen 1:31. Adam & Eve were first naked and it wasn't a problem, til the serpent gave them another way of looking at it. Christ/ positive; Satan / negative. Heaven/ positive, Hell/ negative. The universe stays the same, how you view it can and will change.
I looked at scripture and it appeared to describe the same things, from at least two perspectives, positive and negative. It states how life on earth would be if humans obeyed God, and how it would be if we did not. Same earth, different view. That's why we can all look at the same thing and have different opinions.
So Heaven and hell exist also in your mind. In the form of Positive & Negative. So, if you're granted eternal life, where will you spend it? Heaven or Hell.
Stay positive/ Heavenly, my friends. I know it's difficult.
