A few things I want you all to consider, ponder and pray about. These are just a few things to make you think, perhaps you thought about theses things before, or maybe they never crossed your minds.
1.Sunday is the first day of the week. Saturday is the seventh. God made the seventh day holy. [Gen 2: 2-3] But of course, since all the ordinances were nailed to the cross with Christ, anyone is free to attend church any day of the week that you choose. [ Col 2:14] "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us....nailing it to his cross;" [Eph 2:15] " Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances;..." [Gal 5:4] " Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; are fallen from grace."
2. Many religious scholars agree that Christ was not born on Dec. 25th, so they tell you it's a day they set aside to observe the birth of Christ, all well and good from my end, as a nice gesture to honor our savior. But many of our feasts he hates. [ Isa 1: 13-14] Remember whatever an individual does in the name of religion, you do to the glory of God , not humans. [1 Cor 10:31] You observe it or you don't, from what I see, you are no more righteous, nor evil either way. This also applies to Easter. The Israelites observed Passover, not Easter. [Ex 12:11, 21, 27, 43] [ 1 Cor 5:7 ] "...Christ our Passover..."
Many religious scholars agree Christ was 33 1/2 years old when he died, and Passover was usually in March or April, subtract 6 months and you'll have September or October..?
3. Finally to my friends, acquaintances and to address some comments on this page, please find this "free will" doctrine or scripture that many of you keep telling me about, because I haven't found that yet, so therefore I don't believe it. Also along that line, that "name it and claim it" scripture too. I thank you in advance, because I don't see those scriptures. Not to imply I know all scriptures, because maybe I've overlooked them.
Concerning the false prophet comment directed at me. They thought the same of Jesus. [John 9:16,24] "...How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles?.." "...we know that this man is a sinner." [ John 7: 12] "...He is a good man: others say nay; but he deceives the people." The servant is no greater than his Lord. [John 13:16]
